Red Bank everyday clayware essentials
Whatever its architectural style, Red Bank manufactures all the clayware essentials you need to make your project a success. From clay roof ridges, air bricks and liners through to round and cannon top chimney pots and concrete flue systems, and much more besides.
The skilled and knowledgeable team can also design and craft bespoke clayware products using traditional methods passed down through generations of workers over the course of our 100-year history.
Traditional clayware chimney and roofing components
Matching an old chimney pot or ridge tile requires skill and experience that isn’t easy to come by. Fortunately, it is something that our craftspeople at Red Bank have plenty of. They use traditional methods of production that have been passed down through generations of workers over the course of our 100-year history. Some of our employees are second or even third generation workers.
All they require is a sample of an item or a dimensioned technical drawing. From there, they use a variety of methods, including hand moulding and mechanical extrusion to produce bespoke ridge tiles, roof finials, chimney pots and copings, among many other products.
Locally sourced ingredients
If your project needs to match existing structures, we can help you achieve that. UK-sourced clays minerals – most of which come from our own quarry site – are used to produce clayware products in the red, buff and slate body mix colours common to period buildings throughout the UK.
Everyday essentials for merchant stockists
Red Bank’s portfolio of off-the-shelf clayware products is one of the most comprehensive in the UK. Available from builders’ merchants nationwide, the range – all manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13502: 2002 – includes:
