Precast columns & beams

As a structural frame solution, we offer the option of column and beam design.

These can be a standalone solution or in combination with our crosswall structures. Column and beam designs are ideally suited to projects that require large open floor areas, such as multi-storey car parks, supermarkets, retail outlets and schools.

The frame can be designed to accommodate a selection of floor designs, including hollowcore and solid RC floor units.

Architectural precast

Bison Precast’s architectural precast concrete façades bring buildings to life through innovative design solutions paired with high-tech manufacturing capabilities.

Precast concrete panels can be manufactured as a sandwich wall or single skin construction, in a range of decorative finishes and colours. They can be utilised either as part of a structural precast frame or as a decorative cladding panel onto a steel or in-situ concrete frame.

In addition to increasing the speed, cost effectiveness, and quality of construction, precast technology offers endless possibilities in terms of design and aesthetics. It is also reliable, durable and low maintenance.

Precast Stadia

We have a long and unrivalled history of providing stadia solutions for football, rugby, tennis, cricket, horseracing and cycling arenas, including some of the UK’s most iconic: Millennium Stadium, Wembley Stadium, Twickenham and Old Trafford.

Among the precast components we have supplied are: Raker beams, Hollowcore flooring, Terrace units, Vomitory walls, Terrace steps, Stairs, Walls, Walkways.

Crosswall construction

A cross wall construction system utilises precast, precision engineered concrete components to create a stable and structural frame. The frame is held together by a series of vertical and horizontal ties, designed to meet progressive collapse criteria set out in the Building Regulations.

Our precast crosswall frame solution comprises structural panels forming internal and external walls along with floor slabs. Crosswall buildings are durable, have good acoustic values and are virtually maintenance free. They are quick to erect, offering the client a rapid room occupancy programme.
