Forterra wins big at the BCC Pledge Awards
We were delighted to have achieved a fantastic fourteen award wins at the British Ceramic Confederation Health and Safety Pledge Conference and Awards on Thursday 12 October.
The British Ceramic Confederation provides sector-specific health and safety support for ceramic manufacturers under the banner of the Ceramics Sector ‘Pledge’, an industry-wide commitment to engage in a process of continuous improvement in health and safety.
The annual conference recognises the extensive work undertaken by the sector to drive health and safety improvement and provides an opportunity to share best practice and network.
Caroline Wildman, Marketing Director at Forterra said, “We’re delighted to have been recognised at the Health and Safety Pledge Awards, further demonstrating our commitment to health, safety and wellbeing across our business.”
Award winners included colleagues Tim Potkins and Garry Smith from our Kings Dyke site, Andrew Desforges from Kirton and Sharon Woodhall and Stuart Sherrieff from Wilnecote.
John Walker won the Safe Contractor Award and finally, we received a fantastic eight awards for various improvement projects.
